The man behind most notably Sunset Rubdown and Wolf Parade has digitally released his new solo efforts under the moniker Moonface. His site offers the 20 minute single track EP for whatever donations available to aid in his pursuit to defeat his credit debt. The EP is a wonderful marriage of sounds of everything previous that Krug has collaborated his efforts towards. As noted in the album's title, Dreamland EP: Marimba and Shit-Drums the primary use of Caribbean instrumentation paints a beach like environment while retaining Krug's usual surreal approach on the bigger picture in life. The album will be released via Jagjaguwar on January 26, but is still available to be downloaded digitally now on the Moonface site.
